The step-wise procedure, The applicant needed to follow, is as shown below;

    The startup Innovator will submit its application through online application form.

    A unique number is generated to the applicant vide which the applicant may track his/ her application.

    The application receives shall be initially checked/ scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Department of Industries.

    This application is reverted back to applicant (if rejected) or forwarded to the concerned incubation centres for processing.

    The innovator will approach Incubation Centre with his proposal of innovative idea/concept for recommendation.

    The Committee will approve idea/concept within 20 days (or may reject the application) of an individual or group of individuals duly recommended by institution.

    The institution will submit proposal to Directorate of Industries to avail sustenance allowance for one year as provided under the scheme. Empowered committee will sanction the assistance and will be disbursed directly in favour of the innovator (Startup need not apply separately) after receiving monthly progress reports from Incubation Centres.

    Once the idea is ready for commercialization, on the recommendation of the incubation centre, the support would be provided for marketing assistance and seed/ angel fund.

    Once the idea is commercialized the Innovator will apply to Industries Department online directly through the single window portal of the state (or through the link available at to avail benefits/ incentives (sanction and disbursement) such as interest subvention, allotment of plots etc. Incentives are applied through a common form without the physical touch points facilitating online application submission and tracking of status and approvals.
